These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Joint Task Force Sports website, including www.jointtaskforcesports.org, and any related webpages, registration forms, donation pages, online services, and digital content operated by Joint Task Force Sports, Inc.

Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. “JTF Sports,” “JTF,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, donor, participant, volunteer, applicant, purchaser, or other person using our website or online services.

By accessing or using our website, submitting information, making a donation, registering for an event, or purchasing an item, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or its services.

1. About Joint Task Force Sports

Our mission is:

“Strengthening the mental and physical health of veterans, service members, and their families through peer-based therapeutic recreation, outdoor programming, and team-based activities.”

Information provided through this website is intended to explain our mission, programs, events, volunteer opportunities, fundraising efforts, partnerships, and organizational activities.

JTF Sports & Outdoors is an alternate brand used by Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. It is not a separate legal entity.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

- Violate any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its systems, or information belonging to another person.

- Introduce viruses, malicious code, automated scraping tools, or other harmful technology.

- Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website.

- Impersonate JTF Sports, a member of its leadership, an employee, a volunteer, a partner, or another user.

- Use JTF Sports’ name, logo, content, or programs to solicit money or represent an affiliation without written authorization.

- Submit false, misleading, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, unlawful, or infringing content.

- Use information obtained through the website to harass, exploit, or harm another person.

We may restrict or terminate access to the website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or when necessary to protect JTF Sports, our participants, or the public.

3. Minors

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13.

A parent or legal guardian must complete or approve registrations, forms, purchases, donations, and other submissions made on behalf of a minor. Participation by minors in JTF Sports programs may require additional parental consent forms, releases, medical authorizations, or other program-specific documents.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us at the information listed below.

4. Program and Event Information

We work to keep program descriptions, schedules, eligibility requirements, locations, availability, and other event information accurate. However, programs and events may be changed, postponed, relocated, or canceled because of weather, safety concerns, facility availability, partner requirements, staffing, funding, enrollment, or circumstances outside our control.

Registration through the website does not guarantee admission, participation, travel assistance, lodging, equipment, tickets, financial support, or any other benefit unless JTF Sports provides written confirmation.

JTF Sports may establish eligibility requirements and participation standards for individual programs. We may deny or revoke participation when reasonably necessary to protect participant safety, program integrity, partner requirements, or compliance with applicable law.

5. Activity-Specific Agreements and Safety Requirements

Some JTF Sports programs involve sports, physical activity, outdoor recreation, travel, animals, water activities, motorsports, equipment, or other activities that carry inherent risks.

Before participating, you may be required to complete separate documents, including:

 - An assumption-of-risk agreement or liability waiver.

 - A medical information or emergency authorization form.

 - A photo, video, or media release.

 - A code of conduct.

 - A parent or guardian consent form.

 - A transportation or travel agreement.

 - A facility- or partner-specific release.

These Terms do not replace any activity-specific agreement. If an activity-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms regarding participation in that activity, the activity-specific agreement will control to the extent of that conflict.

Participants are responsible for providing complete and accurate information and for following all safety instructions, eligibility rules, facility requirements, and directions from authorized staff, volunteers, instructors, guides, medical personnel, and program partners.

6. No Medical or Professional Advice

Information available through this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, benefits, or other professional advice.

JTF Sports is not a clinical healthcare provider and does not replace medical treatment, mental health treatment, emergency services, or services provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or other licensed professionals.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional concerning your individual circumstances. In an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service.

7. Donations

Donations made through the website support the charitable mission and programs of Joint Task Force Sports, Inc.

Unless a solicitation expressly states otherwise:

 - Donations are voluntary.

 - JTF Sports retains discretion and control over donated funds consistent with its charitable purposes and any legally accepted donor restriction.

 - A donor’s stated preference will be considered but does not create a binding restriction unless JTF Sports expressly accepts that restriction in writing.

 - Donations are generally nonrefundable once processed.

If a donation was made in error, was duplicated, or involved unauthorized use of a payment method, contact us promptly. Refund requests will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable law, payment-processing rules, and whether the funds have already been committed or used.

JTF Sports is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be deductible to the extent permitted by law. JTF Sports does not provide individual tax advice. Donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding deductibility.

If you receive goods or services in exchange for a payment, only the amount exceeding the fair market value of those goods or services may qualify as a charitable contribution, subject to applicable law.

Third-party payment processors may apply their own terms, privacy practices, transaction limits, and processing procedures.

8. Recurring Donations

If you establish a recurring donation, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the selected payment method at the frequency and amount you choose until the recurring donation is canceled.

You may request cancellation by using the payment processor’s available tools or by contacting JTF Sports. Cancellation will apply to future charges and may not reverse a payment already submitted for processing.

9. Event Fees, Tickets, and Refunds

Registration fees, ticket payments, sponsorships, merchandise purchases, and charitable donations may be treated differently.

Any refund, transfer, cancellation, or no-show rules displayed during registration or purchase are incorporated into these Terms. If no specific policy is displayed, payments are generally nonrefundable except when:

 - JTF Sports cancels the event and does not provide a replacement or rescheduled opportunity;

 - A payment was duplicated or processed in error; or

 - A refund is otherwise required by law.

JTF Sports is not responsible for personal travel, lodging, transportation, equipment, or other expenses incurred because of a changed or canceled program unless JTF Sports expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Tickets or opportunities provided through programs such as Seats of Valor may not be resold, transferred, auctioned, or used for commercial purposes without written authorization.

10. Merchandise and Online Purchases

If merchandise is offered through the website, product descriptions, images, availability, pricing, shipping estimates, and sizing information are provided in good faith but may contain occasional errors.

We may correct errors, cancel an order, limit quantities, or issue a refund when an item is unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled.

Any return, exchange, shipping, or fulfillment policy displayed at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction. Products fulfilled by a third-party vendor may also be subject to that vendor’s terms.

11. User Submissions

You may have opportunities to submit applications, testimonials, photographs, videos, comments, stories, nominations, reviews, or other materials.

You retain ownership of content you create. By voluntarily submitting content for public, promotional, or organizational use, you confirm that:

 - The submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

 - You own the content or have permission to submit it.

 - The submission does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other legal rights.

 - The submission does not contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or malicious material.

Unless a separate release provides otherwise, submitting content does not automatically authorize JTF Sports to use your name, image, likeness, personal story, or protected personal information in public-facing materials. Public promotional use may require a separate written or electronic media release.

We may remove or decline to publish submitted content at our discretion.

12. Intellectual Property

The website and its original content—including text, graphics, program names, photographs, videos, designs, downloads, logos, trademarks, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and print website materials for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit JTF Sports content without prior written permission.

The JTF Sports name, JTF lettermark, logos, motto, program names, and related branding may not be used in a way that implies sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, fundraising authority, or organizational affiliation without written authorization.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Government and Military Non-Endorsement

References to the United States Armed Forces, military branches, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, government agencies, military installations, or related seals and marks do not imply endorsement of JTF Sports unless expressly stated by the relevant agency.

JTF Sports is an independent nonprofit organization. It is not part of the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or any military branch.

14. Partners, Sponsors, and Third-Party Services

The website may identify sponsors, program partners, venues, sports organizations, service providers, or other third parties. Identification of a third party does not necessarily imply that the third party endorses every JTF Sports activity or statement.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, registration platforms, payment processors, ticketing systems, social media services, or other external resources. JTF Sports does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, accessibility, availability, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party services.

Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and policies.

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by the JTF Sports Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Do not submit confidential medical records, protected health information, Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form unless the form specifically requests that information and identifies an approved secure method for submitting it.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information. However, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JTF Sports does not guarantee that:

 - A particular program, service, benefit, partnership, event, or opportunity will remain available.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the website without prior notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and authorized representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. It also does not replace or expand any rights and responsibilities established in a separate program waiver, participant agreement, purchase agreement, or other written contract.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Joint Task Force Sports, Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

 - Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website;

 - Content you submit;

 - Your infringement of another person’s legal rights; or

 - Your material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to indemnify any party for conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising from these Terms or use of the website must be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction serving Pinellas County, Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a legal action, you and JTF Sports agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter through written communication. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency or injunctive relief when appropriate.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our website, programs, payment practices, legal requirements, or organizational operations.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

22. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A failure by JTF Sports to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable transaction-, registration-, or program-specific agreement, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website.

Program waivers, participant agreements, sponsorship agreements, vendor contracts, and other signed documents may contain additional terms. Those documents will control within their specific subject matter if they conflict with these general website Terms.
